But new research shows just how much plants and the horticulture industry impact our lives. A recent study by the National Institute for Consumer Horticulture, called Horticulture: The Art, Science, & Business of Plants, illustrates the myriad ways in which plants affect everyday life, whether they grow where we live, where we work, where we shop or where we play.
