Performs best in full sun to part shade in moderately fertile, light soils that are slightly acidic (lupine dislike limey soils.)
Excellent for 2- to 3-gallon containers, with large flower spikes closely packed, showcasing the strong and unique colors of the individual bells. The massive display of flowers will support a higher price point than other lupine varieties on the market.
The Westcountry Lupine series, which flowers from late April to early June, features seven solid and bicolor lupines with distinctive colors and unusual hue combinations. One plant can fill a 2-gallon pot, and their sturdy stems keep them safe in shipping and support strong garden performance. Westcountry Lupine can be used as a specimen plant in the landscape or as a centerpiece in premium patio containers.
